Lucile Nicholson Ware

	Lucile Nicholson Ware, 85, of Du Quoin, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2003 at 2 p.m. in Fairview Nursing Center.
	Mrs. Ware had been a Primary School Teacher and a member of First Baptist Church.  She was also a member of Euzelian Sunday  School class, Texas State Teachers, Corpus Christi Retired Teachers Association and a lifetime member of the NEA.
	She was born July 15, 1917 at Ovett, Mississippi, the daughter of Sandy and Rennie (Davis) Nicholson.  She married David Clifton Ware on August 28, 1938 at Richton, Mississippi and he preceded her in death on November 10, 1979.
	Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sherry Ware of Victoria, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and James Taylor of Steeleville and Marsha and Paul 'Tiny' Brock of Du Quoin; five grandchildren, Lucy Eaton and husband Jeff of Steeleville, Kathy Ware of Victoria, Tex., Sarah Brock, Stacey Brock and David Brock, all of Du Quoin; one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Anne Eaton of Steeleville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Frances and Freddie Strickland of Ellisville, Miss. and a special caregiver and friend, Nancy McClannah.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Froney Nicholson.
	Funeral services were Sunday, February 16 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Olive Methodist Cemetery in Ovett, Miss. with Rev. Dr. Allen Woodward officiating.  Interment was in Mt. Olive Methodist Cemetery in Ovett, Miss.
	Friends called at the Neal-McClure Funeral Home on Friday, February 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. A brief service followed with Rev. Jerry Dunn and Rev. Bob Dickerson officiating.
	In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Sunfield United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Alzheimer's Association, Perry County Hospice or to the Mt. Olive Methodist Cemetery Fund.
